Everyday medicines, with advice when you want it

Our front store carries over-the-counter medicines for everyday needs, including pain and fever relievers, cold and flu products, allergy relief, digestive health, first aid and children's products. You will also find an aisle of vitamins, minerals and supplements. You can shop without an appointment during opening hours.

Over-the-counter does not mean right for everyone. Some products interact with prescription medications or are not suited to certain conditions, ages or pregnancy. The pharmacist is nearby and happy to help you compare options or check a product against the medications you already take. If your symptoms might qualify for a minor ailment assessment, the pharmacist can tell you.

Reading labels and storing medicines

Read the active ingredients on every label. Many cold and flu products contain the same pain reliever, so taking two products together can mean too much of one ingredient. Keep medicines in their original packaging, check expiry dates and store them out of the reach of children. Bring expired medicines to the pharmacy for proper disposal.

For personal care products such as skincare and hair care, see our cosmetics and personal care page. Questions about a product? Call (905) 725-3594.
