MedsCheck medication reviews
A private, one-on-one review of every medication you take, with an updated list to keep.
Learn about medscheck medication reviews →An independently owned community pharmacy on King Street East, filling prescriptions for Oshawa families since 1964.

The sign above our dispensary counter says it plainly: prescriptions since 1964. For more than sixty years, Eastview Pharmacy has been part of the neighbourhood just east of downtown Oshawa, at 573 King St E. Generations of local families have filled prescriptions, picked up everyday essentials and asked questions at this counter.
We are an independently owned pharmacy operating under the I.D.A. banner, a name shared by independently owned pharmacies across Canada. Being independent means decisions about the store are made here in Oshawa, by people who see the same faces every week.
Today we combine the dispensary with pharmacist services such as vaccinations, minor ailment assessments and MedsCheck reviews, and a full front store with over-the-counter medicines, personal care products, household goods and greeting cards.

Our pharmacists are registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists, the body that regulates pharmacy in the province. You can look up any pharmacist's registration on the college's public register.
We take time to explain how to take a new medication, what to expect and what to do if something does not feel right. Private conversations happen away from the front counter, and you are always welcome to call (905) 725-3594 with a question.
When something is outside what a pharmacist can help with, we say so and point you to your doctor, a clinic or emergency care.
