MedsCheck medication reviews
A private, one-on-one review of every medication you take, with an updated list to keep.
Learn about medscheck medication reviews →Weekly blister packs sort your medications by day and time of day, so it is easier to see what to take and when. Packs are prepared by our pharmacy team and picked up in store.

A blister pack, sometimes called compliance or adherence packaging, is a sealed card with a small bubble for each time of day across the week. Each bubble holds the tablets or capsules due at that time. Instead of opening several bottles, you or your caregiver open one bubble at a time. It is a simple way to see at a glance whether a dose has been taken.
At Eastview Pharmacy we prepare weekly packs for people managing several medications, including caregivers looking after parents or family members. The packs are labelled with your name, the medications inside and the time of day, and are ready for pickup at the pharmacy. When a prescription changes, we update the packs to match.

Packs help organize multiple daily doses into one simple card.
If you look after a parent or relative, packs make it easier to keep track of their week.
Shift work, travel between homes or simply a full schedule can make bottles harder to manage.
Here is what to expect at I.D.A. Eastview Pharmacy, step by step.
Call (905) 725-3594 and tell us you are interested in blister packs. We will explain how it works and what we need from you.
The pharmacist reviews your current list. A MedsCheck is a good place to start if you take many medications.
Our team fills, seals and labels each weekly pack, and the pharmacist checks it.
Pick up your packs at the pharmacy. We keep them in step with any prescription changes.
Not every medication can go into a blister pack. Liquids, inhalers, some tablets that must stay in the original bottle and medications taken only as needed are usually kept separate. The pharmacist will explain what applies to you.

Keep the pack somewhere you will see it at the same time each day, out of reach of children and away from heat and moisture. If you miss a dose, do not double up on the next one; call the pharmacy and ask what to do. If your doctor changes a medication between pickups, let us know right away so we can adjust the packs.
Blister packaging pairs well with a MedsCheck medication review, which gives you an updated list of everything you take. For questions about packs, call (905) 725-3594.
