Do you carry over-the-counter products and personal care items?
Yes. Alongside the dispensary, we stock a full range of over-the-counter medicines, vitamins and supplements, skincare and personal care items, household goods, and greeting cards. Stop in and our staff can help you find what you need.
Do you fit compression stockings?
Yes. We offer in-store fittings for medical compression stockings, which are often covered by extended health benefit plans. Visit us in person for a fitting.
Can a pharmacist prescribe for minor ailments?
Yes. As of 2023, Ontario pharmacists can assess and prescribe treatment for 19 minor ailments including pink eye, urinary tract infections, cold sores, hemorrhoids, mild eczema, acid reflux and more. No appointment needed and most assessments are covered by OHIP.
Do you give flu shots and travel vaccines on site?
Yes. We administer flu shots, COVID-19 boosters, shingles, HPV, tetanus, pneumococcal and most travel vaccines on site. Flu shots are typically walk-in during flu season; for travel vaccines we recommend booking a private consultation 4–6 weeks before your trip.
What is a MedsCheck and is it covered?
A MedsCheck is a private one-on-one medication review with the pharmacist. It's fully covered by OHIP for Ontarians who take 3+ prescription medications, have diabetes, or live in a long-term care setting. We'll review side effects, interactions, and ensure every medication is still appropriate for you.
Do you prepare blister packs (compliance packaging)?
Yes. We prepare weekly blister packs free of charge for patients managing multiple medications, including caregivers looking after parents or family members. Packs can be picked up in store.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
We accept OHIP+, Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB), Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB), Trillium, WSIB, and most major private insurance plans including Manulife, Sun Life, Green Shield, Canada Life, Blue Cross and more. We direct-bill wherever possible.
Is the pharmacy wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The entrance is at ground level, aisles inside are wheelchair-friendly, and we have free parking directly in front of the store. Curbside pickup is also available. Just call when you arrive.
